Bed & Breakfast in the Deux-Sevres, Poitou Charentes, France

Boussais Country House was built in the late nineteenth century and has been recently renovated to a high standard by the owners. Great care has been taken to provide comfortable and stylish accommodation above and beyond that which is offered in hotel chains. The chambres d'hotes has two large bed & breakfast rooms with their own private ensuite facilities and a living room for the use of the guests. Original features have been enhanced with touches of luxury to provide an elegant and comfortable place to stay. Our bedrooms have recently been described as 3 epis (stars) by Gites de France 'chambres de grand confort'.

Within 45 minutes are the historic cities of Poitiers, Saumur, Niort and the Loire Valley. Ideal for those who enjoy seeing the wonderful architecture and buildings the area has to offer, or a spot of shopping and people watching in the vibrant centres. The area has many medieval towns offering weekly markets and a chance to see real France.

The region is littered with little gems to be uncovered, in between wine tastings at many of the local wine producers. Two of France's most visited attractions are the theme parks of Puy du Fou and Futuroscope which are also only 45 minutes drive away and well worth a visit for the whole family.
